During our trip to the USA, we stayed in a Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Clinton Iowa.
We stayed in a double queen bed room for $108 + taxes for one night. The room was clean. There was an in-room coffee maker, a small bar fridge and a microwave. This had a really great breakfast selection, with real omelets! Sadly, no waffles, but they did have Danishes and that was excellent. There was an instant pancake maker that I didn’t test out, sadly. There was a whole fridge full of yoghurt to choose from as well.
The wifi was decent with no limits on how many people could log in, and relatively fast. The shower was warm, and had really tasty smelling citrus soaps that I took with me. The pool looked nice and clean, but we didn’t test it. There was no spa though.
If not for the price being more expensive than the Wingate (that I stayed in after this one – review to come), then I would absolutely stay in another Holiday Inn Express. It was far superior to WoodSprings and the Ramada.
