During our trip to the USA, we stayed in the Ramada by Wyndham in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin.
We stayed in a double queen bed room. The room was clean, but the airconditioning was very noisy. There was an inroom coffee maker that I didn’t use, and a small bar fridge and a microwave (also didn’t use it).
The breakfast was very limited (I didn’t realise this until later), but still edible. I experienced fresh made waffles for the first time, but also encountered reconstituted egg powder as an ‘egg’ (ew). The drinking water was terrible, basically undrinkable. I tried boiling it, and leaving the containers open in the fridge, but it was still pretty bad. I craved juice.
The shower was lukewarm, generally average in terms of having jets. The soap was unremarkable. The room service was fine, and friendly, considering that our stuff was absolutely everywhere in the room! Very clean and generally a nice place to stay. The internet was reliable enough.
The indoor pool was really warm, enclosed and the air temperature was warm. The spa was hot, also a sauna that we didn’t test. We were entertained by the fact that that spa only was licences for 5 people, when we could easily fit in 6 people… Then we realised that the average clientele might weigh a bit more than our 50-60kg…
This was really a very average hotel, and I wouldn’t stay there again.
