Comic Review: Daisy Owl

So although I have a couple of comics that I read super regularly, one has just finished (bye bye Girls With Slingshots), and I’m on the lookout for something new to read.

Taken from http://www.daisyowl.com/comic/2010-01-18

Daisy Owl is a comic that appears to have been abandoned by its creator back in 2010. It covers the somewhat strange lives of an Owl, his two adopted children, and a random local bear. It has a storyline, which is a plus for me, and has a dry sort of humour that would run perfectly well with the regular comics in the newspaper – a little dry and a touch sophisticated. It’s a pity that it’s been left alone, as there was still plenty to be done with the storyline.

The author is still around, according to his Facebook page, but I didn’t dig too deeply to work out what his current projects are.

This is a bite-sized comic to read in its unfinished form, and if you’re looking for something short that doesn’t require much brain power to read, this could be for you.
