Day 12:<\/strong><\/p>\n

I will make time for the things that matter most.<\/u><\/p>\n

No more PhD! Freedom! I don’t need to make (more) time for the things that matter most. What matters most to me is spending time with Eli, and she has been making an effort to spend more time with me (and less at work). She’s achieving this by getting up early, heading to work 1.5hrs early and then coming home early. I have been trying to get up with her in the morning to steal some more girlfriend time, and taking a nap in the afternoon if I get tired. I have gotten her to drop me at a local park for some exercise walking home one morning, I’d like to do that more.<\/p>\n

I need to use more time for the things that matter less but would improve life – eg. making facewashers out of an excess bathmat (do you know how hard it is to find towels in a really decent red?) and making pillow cases out of the top sheet of a sheet set from the Op-shop (our big fluffy down pillows don’t work if they are inside a normal pillow case.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
